good to have a photography forum...thanks.


i think the scenery is a huge part of the experience of the hunt...so lets see some scenery photos from this great state.
this is the area i hunt the general season in S.E. WA.

Awesome shots and nice buck.  So is that like Garfield county or Asotin type stuff around Clarkston?  Gorgeous country.

so bone...is their any area of the state you don't know??
thats garfield county out of pomeroy. not the high country, but it is pretty. about 3500' in the blues.
thats my buddy's deer btw.

Beautiful country, brings back some fine memories of chasing pheasants down there around Dayton, it sure is pretty down there.  Thanks for posting.

Nice photo. You know someone mentioned hunting down in Smith Creek the other day and I was wondering if it actually gets crowded down in there. I guess if I want to know I will have to go see for myself.

That's always the best way, but it's hit and miss it's not too bad. Sometimes there too many people, but they for the most part they leave during the week. Need to get up in there in a couple of weeks to see what's left afthe last seasons heavy rains. Lots of places were washed out.

That was pretty good!  North side of Mt. Hull. Lots-o-critters up there. The speck in the field is our place up there. We're heading up tomorrow morning to spend a few days. See if the Merriams are in the lower lot and listen for the drumming grouse.
