I say teach him as much pre-season as possible, then during the season while you guys are hunting drop him off the deep end  :chuckle: with a foundation of knoledge he should do just fine. and if you need another to tag along I am always game...but due to the military i dont get to go out and scout that much  :'(

I say we dump him off in the middle of the woods with a compass heading at 5 am and tell him we'll see him back at camp at dinner time.  He might want a sleeping bag and a flashlight.

(I'm a new guy to the area too, so I'm probably digging my own grave here)
