Why would one ask for something and not follow up.

Hey guys.  I just got a bow combo with 6 arrows from Cabelas (well, only five left - one went through the drywall in my ceiling and I haven't found it in the attic insulation yet).  What time are we meeting up to hunt some elks?  :dunno:

Seriously, batteries, cosmos and blankies, sounds like you guys are putting on a production of Sex in the city.. :dunno:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

First I'll take my new Cabela's bone saw and cut off any extra tines it wasn't supposed to have.  Then I'll pose with it.  Been practicing my dead elks poses.  Then maybe cut it up with my new Cabela's Rambo knife with the compass on the handle so I can cut it up and put it on the little styrofoam trays with cling wrap, I guess.

I think I'm going to need to borrow some sharp arrow points from somebody in camp.

You better hang onto your backup arrow.  After use the first on an elk, you'll need it for your second bear.
Good luck out there fellas.

Ok, the best way to get an elk is to go up at midnight, go deep in the forest and sit there with a burlap bag.. Your buddies will run around and scare the elk. The elk will actually crawl into bag (they are dumb animals). Don't be surprised when they tell you about this strategy.  :chuckle:
