fox pro models? what about primos alpha dog
« on: February 03, 2013, 04:40:00 PM »
Fox pro has a large price range.  Which model do you guys think is "best bang for the buck" or the minimum?  Anybody checked out the Primos Alpha Dog?  Looked good on the show I saw it on.

Foxpro seems to have bought into the "Bigger is Better" theme these days.  I don't know who would want to lug around the monstrosities they are making!  The model I bought, still made but not advertised, is the Scorpion.  Fits into a pocket or pack, is plenty loud, (has plug ports for auxiliary speakers if you think you need more volume), and uses the same remote as some of the bigger models.  You are hunting an animal that reportedly can hear a mouse squeak 1/4 mile away!

Even as small as it is, I can't carry everything I have for coyote hunting.  :twocents:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

just figure out your budget and read a ton of reviews modify as needed i use a CS 24 From fox pro just because my buddie and i went in halves on it and it is worth every penny if your doing it buy your self go with a fury prairie storm or scorpion or go with i want to say its a wind river or a johnny stewart. but in my personal opinion you WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH A FOX PRO! there customer service is amazing and if you call they can pretty much answer any questions you have over the phone and if you have to send it back they get it fixed and back to you fast
