I'm headed over for the annual Wennatchee sportsman feed next weekend, We allways take an extra day for fishing. Whats the best bet ? Rufus woods for Trips or Steel below chief Joseph dam.

If your looking for fish to eat, I would go after the trips. I cant amagine thoses steelhead would be in very good shape. That said, its been slow from the people I know that have gone up there the last few weeks.

Reports are water temps still a bit low and fishing slow

I say ABOVE chief joseph. As far as colors I would go red/black or purple/black or my favorite is red/purple/black if you have it!
