Had a great vacation with my Son!!! It was a fairly elk-less area in comparison to what we hoped for. Never heard or saw a bull bigger than a 3x4. Heard 3 bugles the whole time, one was at night! Put over 70 miles of boot leather on in 6 days, most all bulls were pushed onto private land on the first season. Live & learn! (grin) Also there were hundreds of hunters in a 170 draw tag area, a bit deceiving on how many tags are really issued in all?

But we aren't elk-less in ID---I'll post photos when I can! I did put down a nice 6-point with a great longbow from Hornseeker, had a mostly pass through at 18yds! Still working on my Sons bull at this time!

I sure wish my budget allowed me to hunt in your ID area . . . you must be getting tired of shooting 6X6's  :)
