Multi Season Question's
« on: February 12, 2013, 07:05:52 AM »
I have not drawn a Multi Season permit before, in fact this year is my first year applying. If you are drawn for the multi elk or deer I am under the impression that that tag is the only one you need to hunt all the seasons, and that you don't have to buy a tag associated with each weapon, is that correct? I realize that you still only get one animal unless drawn for a second deer tag. And for elk you would be able to hunt both east and west side??

correct so you have to buy an elk tag, for instance, for $50 and then when you are drawn from multi season you will purchase the permit for $180 and you are free to hunt with any weapon during that corresponding season.

If you get drawn than you can put in for special permits for any weapon.

I am still a bit confused, I all ready put in for the permit, I thought if I was drawn for the multi season, then I still needed to buy my big game license and the multi season for the additional 180.00 and that this was your tag that was valid for any weapon. Are you saying you still need to buy tags specific to each weapon you hunt???

You need 1 deer tag than you need the 180 permit.  So your deer tag and.permit will cost about 220$

Not quite. You need a special multi season tag. If you already purchased a tag that is weapon specific you will need to exchange it.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

Thats what I thought, so if you purchase the 180 dollar multi season tag, that is the only one you need to hunt all the seasons, correct?? In addition to your big game license??

This is correct. You will have a tag that says multi season at the top.

Thanks for clearing that up!
