Another touch up
« on: February 13, 2013, 07:47:29 AM »
My Idaho mule deer this year. I was wondering if you guys could work your magic on this one too? I wasn't ever able to get very good field pics of it because I was by myself and there was 10 inches of snow and it was melting. Thanks

Okay....I don't know if Bone is somewhat joking but as many deer as you shoot via the lense I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them fall to hunters. Do you see "your" deer often in trophy shots of hunters? Secondly....great deer. Love the color on him.

Thanks. I got him about 10 miles as the crow flies from that whitetail. Don't think many people snapped pitures of this buck though, He was in some thick nasty stuff. I just lucked out and happened to catch him comin up an old skid road as I was hikin out and shot him at 20 yds he ended up pilin up 15ft infront of me.

I saw a buck that was as identical as my eye could tell. That part I was/wasn't joking.  Odds are a different deer.  I do see some that end up in pics, or gutpiles.

Gotta love getting lucky.

Isn't funny how you can increase your odds of luck by devoting more time and being more patient. I use northern Idaho as a backup if I can't tag out during archery or the early general modern in central Idaho. I got to that spot at 10pm the night before and slept in my truck, I almost wasn't gonna go but one of my brothers asked why I wouldn't go and I didn't have a good excuse so I went.

I really like that black and white one, it looks pretty unique. Bone I'm never able to see your photos from my work computer? I'll have to look at it when I get home.
