Reloading for 22-250
« on: February 13, 2013, 08:24:37 PM »
I have loaded for the 22-250 alot, always shooting H380 and several different bullet makes with good to excellent acccuracy.  I am thinking of trying another powder in a new rifle my buddy has.  What are your favorite loads for this cartridge?

Thanks,

I shoot Reloader 15 and 52 gr match bullets for one of my target guns the other likes 380 and 55gr softpoint flatbase.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

My last rifle seemed to like V-max and Varget

My current pet load in my new Savage is a 55gr Gameking HP and Vihta-N135 which shoots extremely well in that gun.

Reloader 10x is specifically made for the 22-250 and 223 calibers.. it is the one powder, I have seen available recently.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I used H4895/52 A-Max in my Savage 10 with great results. A buddy uses Varget/50-55gr Nosler BTs in his M77.
