Here's a couple pics. Tharius, Sean, with the first fish of the day, then Kola, Robbie, with the last one.

I still have a fever but I'm hopeful for tomorrow. I've been waiting for this for a long time, I don't want to miss it.  Fingers crossed!

Man up Ripper  :tung: I've been waiting for this day since you first brought it up.  I'm hoping you have a USB port in that brain of yours so I can download all your knowledge on fishing, especially your hot spots around here.  The wife and I are looking forward to getting out to fish soon.

Albertsons is just off exit 199 turn right cross rr tracks.  While there pick me up some baked beans and chips, saving me a 16 mile round trip to town. Oh yea hotdogs and buns also.

OK I can join you, It looks like I'm a player tomorrow.  There's good and bad news.

The Good:

*My Saturday opened up to join you.
*It's poker night.
*I'll drop a couple pot's if one of you will be kind enough to run me out.
*Got chicken thighs and a couple turkey legs for bait.  One of those turkey leg's would be able to take out Smossy.  They are monsters.
*Good day as far as the weather goes.

The Bad:

*Because of poker night.  I'll have little sleep when I arrive.
*I'll still be getting stuff together in the morning.

The question:

*How early should I arrive to get the close in parking?  Curious how early the parking fills up.

Gate opens at 7, and so the party begins!

That didn't answer my question Smossy.  Since you've never been there I wouldn't suspect you would know.

To those that have been there.  About how early do you need to be there to get the good parking?
I would say with the weather being as good as it has been I would expect the lower lot to fill up around noon.  The hill climb is steep to the upper lot
Ive been to this park many, many times. It fills up very early. Not alot of parking in the lower lot. If I was going I would be there by 9am if I wanted a good spot.

Hey Hd2fnd, Are there plans for a party at your place for later in the eve?
nothing has been mentioned, and I haven't been home this week so the house isn't suitable for company at least to the wife's satisfaction.

This isn't to say we can't hang outside.  Could be fun except for no bonfire due to burn ban on the rez, but so a small camp fire would be ok.

For those last minute shoppers there is also Priest Point grocery store, pretty large selection of items for a day at the beach.  They are located approximately 3 miles from exist 199, this will be your last chance for food and great espresso
