No matter the score thats a once in a lifetime Washington bull, you should be very proud.
and i am  ;) the bull was just the icing on the cake, to one of the best hunts of my life, great times in the outdoors with my father. getting to be a small part of charlies success, and meeting some great people. and pushing myself mentally and physically to really see what I'm capable of. now that's what hunting is about

Trav, that was one helluva bull and no matter how much you try to credit that toward luck imho it all comes down to dedication.... Seriously 20+ days in the field for ANY tag in the state is a fuggin acomplishment, I'm just glad I got to meet u when  I did when helping to pack out charlies bull!

I can't imagine the pressure put on you to come up with a bigger bull by all the razzing we gave you that night (all in fun I'm sure you know) and I'm proud as hell to tell you that when me and my buddy travis (who helped pack out charlies bull) found out you shot the bull that you did we were celebrating into the night when most ppl were gone and dead..  our only regret is that we weren't there to help you pack out that monster!!!  I guess it was our mistake not giving you our number cause we would've been there in a heartbeat!

I'm just happy that I can say I helped pack out a bull that ranked top ten in the state for archery typical, then to have the guy that helped out as well punch a 380 bull then next week!  I'll tell you what... because of you I've been more than admired at a few campfires...   :chuckle:

Good luck on your spring  bear in that nasty country...

I had to come back and look at it again.  The picture with the head and cape on the pack frame (you walking away from the camera) and the main beam touching the ground is most impressive.  It really shows the mass, width, length and age of that bull.

Can't believe I missed this thread til now.  I have seen other threads mention it, but glad I got the whole story.  Super-stud bull bowsnhose.  Love the mass!  Congrats!!
