WA SPRING BEAR PERMITS
« on: February 18, 2013, 05:47:27 PM »
Ok, it's time to put in. I have 5 pts and did not draw Huckleberry last year. I am thinking of Huck, sherman, or 49 degrees. Not sure which one this year. This winter is kinda screwing up my thought process unless some serious snow starts falling.

I shot one in the huckleberry unit a couple years ago.  Lots of land to hunt, but the snow was an issue.  I couldn't get most places until the last half of the season.

spring bear is my second favorite hunt next to elk. I put in for the blues only, last time it took 6 years, 3 points this year.

I drew last year, so I am back down to 1 point.  I put my kid and myself in this year.  It took me 5 years to draw my tag last time.
Cut em!

The Huckleberry wasn't easy, but there are plenty of bears there.  If you want an easier hunt head to the blues.

I hope I get drawn this year.  I went in this year with 2 points.  I know the odds are not in my favor.  I can't wait for the draw results.

I have no points at all for anything   :chuckle:  I am tired of giving them all that extra money when it is not being used for what it should be being used for  :dunno:

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. . .  :'(

Two weeks of paid vacation doesn't stretch very far.
