Sig556 Classic for sale
« on: February 21, 2013, 11:58:30 AM »
I'm selling this Sig556 classic. 5.56 caliper, 16" barrel, gas piston semi-auto rifle.  I recently purchased it but have already built a solid AR for myself so I don't need this one.  This thing is built like a tank, and has the best qualities of both the AK47 Gas Piston system, as well as the take down ability of an AR15.  Has been shot and on the right side of the receiver it has the finish worn off where the spent brass contacts the receiver upon being ejected.  Other than that it is in really nice shape.  I stripped it completely down when I first purchased it and all the internals are in great shape.  Action is glassy smooth.  Adjusted the trigger and I've only put 15 rounds through this gun.  Non on paper just messing around at the range.  Extremely reliable rifle from what previous owner told me and google reviews as well.  Has two different settings for the gas-block, one is a "high pressure" setting that is used when the rifle is extremely dirty or isn't cycling due to insufficient gas pressure (Think battle conditions, dirt, sand...etc).  The other setting is "normal" and that is what the gun has spent 99% of it's life on.  This also takes down similar to an AR in that is has a rear take-down pin as well as front pivot pin to separate the upper/lower.  I can break this rifle down in under a minute and it goes back together just as quickly.  Extremely simple and reliable design.  If wanting a fun reliable accurate semi-auto this gun fits the bill perfectly.  A great SHTF gun as well.  Accepts AR-15 magazines (comes with one 30 round mag).  Also has a folding stock that is in great shape and not worn hardly at all.  It also telescopes in and out but feels like it hasn't been broken in very much as it's quite stiff to adjust.  Red dot is not included.

$1400 and I'm located in Wenatchee.
