Idaho spring bear hunt
« on: March 04, 2013, 09:43:13 AM »
So this year I wanted to do a bear hunt. I bear hunt every year. (fall) and so far am 100%. However these where all baited bears. (I live in Idaho) I live In Postfalls and hunted unit 2 last year and took a great bear. However, I really wanted to do a spring bear hunt in unit 1. Im just not sure whens the best time to go, middle of may? South facing slopes are a must i know, i know the basics off of what ive read on here. Was just curious if anyone new and good areas to start, or anytips. I have a friend in sandpoint and would be staying there. Pm's welcome. Thanks for any help that comes my way.
Heres last years bear, just so you guys have something to look at:)
