Great Shed Year
«
on:
March 01, 2013, 07:38:15 PM »
My wife and I moved into our rental about 2.5 years ago. I've put in a ton of miles right from the house and have found over 30 sheds! This year has been especially productive. I have found 18 sheds in 2013. All blacktail. I have found sheds from one particular buck for multiple years. I've matched up 3 of them. It's a huge blessing having this in my backyard. And when I say backyard, I say it in a very very relative term,
The only pics I have are from my cell phone, and theyre kinda one at a time. enjoy

Thanks for your responses! I mounted a matching set on one of those mountain mikes euro mounts. Looks pretty cool.

Oh, I have cams up. I got 100's of pics of bucks. A decent amount of small bucks, and a few bruisers. It's been fun to learn the behaviors of the bigger bucks. They are creatures of the night. I have literally put 100's of miles trucking around my backwoods and have only seen a few big bucks during daylight hours. I really didnt know what I had going on back there until I put the cams up. A great scouting tool. Between the cams, and the sheds, I have a pretty good idea on the home range for some of these bucks. Too much fun.
