Mike Capilito from Kent

Is that Mike Caripinito, from Carpinito Brothers?  Would be cool to see it go to a local farmer!

Yeah, he is the one who bought it.
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.

Now, he is going to have to pay some guide a pile of money on top of the tag to find him a real monster.
Not necessarily

$44,000 is a steal!! The Arizona Governors tag for elk sold for $382,000, and Denny Austed bought the Antelope island deer tag in Utah for something like $315,000!! That's a lot of money generated but they're still feeding these things to wolves? I guess I'll never understand it?

Always look forward to seeing what that buys....lots of money if that is your yearly salary, but for those that have it...drop in the bucket. Hope he does well.

I hope this thread stays positive. I know Mike and have hunted with him. He's a great guy who has earned his money and spends it on what he enjoys/loves doing. Regardless of your personal opinion on how people spend their money or how they hunt, its theirs and their right to do as they please so be glad they continue to support what we all love to do. I hope he kills a couple giants this year!nwhunter

 :yeah:
I've know Mike for a long time also-he's a dedicated sportsman whose only real extravagance is hunting.  He's earned the right to buy this tag and is only doing what most of the rest of us would do if we had the resources.  I hope he nails a brute!!

Those are some beautiful bulls!  Is this the same guy that drew the sheep raffle tag last year?  Hope he gets a nice one.
