anyone hunt deer around seattle area? king county?

I'm new to seattle and was wondering if there are any areas nearby that produce deer? not looking for secret spots just some advice to a newcomer to the area!! :)

Yup, but you're better off driving an extra hour east to extend your range. And many of the areas close to seattle are firearm restricted anyway (bowhunting only).

there's some good bucks close to town . finding huntible land is tough . door knocking and studying timber company land is a good bet . expect many to turn you down just stay polite and persistant along with knowing boundrys and where you can and cant travell on easments . good luck.

Firearms restricted, yes....bow hunting only, no.

You can use shotgun or a revolver with 4" barrel or longer in 454. If I read the regs right you can use a crossbow during modern deer season in restricted units also.

Hancock Snoqualmie if you want to spend some money for access.  The National Forest, just take some time to get away from all the heavily used trails.
