Glock 20
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:39:01 PM »
I know there have been a lot of threads about this gun. I just thought I would say I am the proud. New owner of one. Picked it up new for 529$.  . Don't know if that was a real good deal....I just wanted one.

Now what barrel and trigger recommendations can I get :dunno:

I am relying on your expertise! :chuckle:

Sounds like a good deal. What generation is it? I have a few Glocks, next on my list is a G20.

With the exception of night sites I have left my Glocks all stock. I have heard with a G20 you want to replace the barrell though to shoot heavier ammo. I don't know a lot about that or why its important but when I get one I will look into that.

I also have a gen 3 g20. I have heard good things about storm lake barrels and lone wolf. Make sure to replace the recoil spring with a heavier one if you are getting a new barrel and plan on using the REAL! 10mm loads.

And the best advice I can give you is to save your brass and start reloading!

I have had good luck with blue dot. I have not really pushed the limits on my loads cause I still have the stock barrel.

Blue dot is flashy, but works well. Longshot is the best compromise.....imo.
