Hike to Latham Lake
« on: March 11, 2013, 09:58:39 AM »
This last Saturday I helped lead a group of 14 kids on a snow shoe hike up to Latham lake (up off Stevens pass). Due to them being minors, I cant post pics of the kids enjoying themselves, but I took over 300 pics while I on the hike.

Nice hike, Me and my lady have been thinking of picking up some snow shoes. We hike every weekend and I think it would open more opportunities for us, how long was that hike? Looks like a blast.

Its not a very long hike. You do gain altitude quickly. The trail is well marked. We rented the snow shoes and poles for $10 each. I can find out where.

Looks like fun. Nice pictures too . I haven't had a chance to go snowshoeing yet. I'd like to go sometime but the wife hasn't warmed up to that yet. Hiking no problem though.
