I bet the drive alone was worth the trip, let alone scoring on bears and crab.

I forgot to add, we dedicated one day to fishing out of Port St. Nicolas and were able to fill a 3rd. cooler with a limit of Lings, Halibut, Yellow Eyes, Quillbacks and Rock Bass. The odd fish was my wife's true Cod, also I managed to hook a 77 inch "butt" but had to release him b/c I am an outstater  :bash: It was fun.                                                 I lost a King next to the boat but my 7 year old landed a 29Lbs. one.
My truck was absolutely full on the way back, it was worth the long haul and I am sure glad for portable DVD players, my son did great all the way.
Come to find out my favorite butcher shop (Robers Roost ) retired, I need to find a new shop or get it done myself.

Wow, that sounds like a heck of a hunter/gatherer trip!  Any pictures?  SE AK is a cool place.

Copy and paste from my account at Photobucket.. :dunno: when you download a pic to PB there is a list of choices to the right of the picture, I go to the last one in the list, left click on it until is says "copied" then I right click on this pages to post and just click "paste". Hope it helps.
