I really like the way this one turned out.  I like the Closed Mouth.  This is one of my favorite rugs that I've done.

Looks amazing.

I have a random question - what's the appeal of the closed mouth? Is it because everyone always gets theirs open, or is it because it's a much harder task to do? :) just curious as I seen a lot of people comment on that part of it.

One of the reasons people like a closed mouth bear over an open mouth bear is because it is more common.  The majority of the bears seen in the woods are going to have a closed mouth.  It is more natural.

Well Done Michelle.  I am not a fan of the open mouth simply because it is all plastic, and not the original teeth looks too unnatural to me.   :twocents:

I've had a couple people call me and have me change there Open Mouth Rug to a Closed Mouth Rug after I posted pic's of this Bear Rug.

I have also always been a big fan of the closed mouth look on rugs, with that being said by the looks of these pictures Michelle nailed this rug.  Looks flawless and i am sure the lucky owner is pumped up to get this bear back.
