Me and the girlfriend went for a drive Wednesday night. I was talking to her about the bobcats ive seen in the short 2 mile stretch within the past three years. Not five minutes later i see one just leaving the side of the road. I grabbed my spotlight and gun in hopes i would tree him, but no luck.So, I'm probably going in the morning to see if i can call something in. My question is, do they travel miles overnight or do you think its still in the area. It looked like a decent sized cat, but its hard to say. It was 10pm at 45mph so it wasnt a great glimpse, but enough to know its worth going after.

Yes, season closed March 15.

Ohhh... well good thing I didn't get him. I thought it ended this sunday. Thats a let down. Guess ill be calling for dogs tomorrow.
