In that price range I would be looking at the new Moultrie M-880:

yes on the Moultrie 880 I have been useing Moultrie for 10 years and have not had 1 issue that was not operator error the m-880 is one of the newest and has settings for everything you would want to do. i use time lapse alot because most action is within the first 4 hours of day and last 4 hours i set it at 5 min intervals because it still takes pictures when it detects movement at any time of day so you dont miss any action out side of those hours. the nice thing is you get a program with the camera to download on your computer and it stitches all the pictures together in a movie and you can watch to see how the deer enter and leave your plot also very helpful. I have bought them new off ebay for around 125.00 compared to cabellas at 159.00 and always buy a lock box with the python cable not that someone will take but i have had it happen and the harder it is to easliy take the better chance you have of it being there when you come back. i also bought the moultrie 12v solar panal and have ran my cameras all winter long and season long and havent had to replace batteries for years.
hit me up if you have Questions The 880 was also upgraded to take HD video as well with Audio which is cool to hear what is really going on.

I don't have one yet, but my next will be the Moultrie M-880. or 100.   I have stealth, trophy, covert, and tasco cams. I try something different most the time.

Have you had any problems with the solar panel in weather? Being weather resistant versus weather proof has me worried for on the west side here.

I havent had any problems as long as they are angled for the most winter time sun exposure i am sure they have been covered up by snow and when it melts they are still taking pictures
