Archery all the way, once you've hunted with a bow you'll never want to go back!

No wonder archery season is getting so dam crowded  :chuckle:

I almost find it easier to get away from the people during rifle season, where there gunna be is pretty dam predictable...on the road or close to it.

What to do? Last year was my first year hunting deer archery. It was a blast!!
Have yet to harvest an elk with my rifle, spike only unit... Just have not had the opportunity to fill my tag. Been in the elk each year just nothing to shoot at.
If I were to hunt archery, I would be able to hit the rut. And have a choice of cow or spike. What are your thoughts?

Archery offers no opportunities at all, ever. I would stick with a rifle until you kill an elk with that, then go to a ML until you kill with that, and then go to a crossbow during modern until you kill with that. By the time you make it to archery, I will be dead and there'll be room for another archer in the woods.

If you go archery you may need to change your screen name to arrow arch or something .

Going against the grain here... If you have to ask then I suggest you stick with the rifle.
