how to cook squirrel

what is the best way to cooking squirrel, i have to full carcasses in the freezer from this weekend? im excited since i have harvested it myself, ive only eaten squirrel from other peoples.

I like grey squirrel slow cook in a crock pot with some dumplings.

Fox squirrel I'll fry them up with smashed potatoes, and good old brown gravy   

I can't wait to get to Iowa to load up on some squirrel

got em with my hound a little outside of cheney. perfect spot for squirrel and chipmunk, so i just take my hound out to keep her nose sharp til next rabbit season.

I would slow cook them until they are tender.

BTW, I'm pretty sure it is illegal to shoot chipmunks anywhere/anytime.     And why would you, they're too small to eat and they are not vermin or pests?
