From the article, it sounds like he is selective on what he feels people should own and shouldn't. Not a true 2nd amendment supporter.
If that's the case, good riddance.

Maybe we should either ban his product, or put some more regulations on it. After all his product has no use, can`t defend yourself with it, it leads to deaths and domestic disturbances.

Good riddance.........

Budweiser is no longer owned by the Busch family, I believe it was sold a couple of years ago.

I have a hard time believing he has been an NRA member since 1975, and not noticed that the NRA fights any attempt by the government to stifle our second amendment rights.  He looks like a dip*censored* in the letter with his drivel about high capcity mags, and so called assualt weapons.  Good riddence we didn't want your kind anyways.

I wonder if he's going to return all of the money he's taken from the sales of alcohol, considering all of the people that have ruined their live getting drunk and the drunk drivers that have killed people?  Oh wait, that would effect him, so I doubt his righteousness goes that far!

This is really too bad for the NRA and all gun owners, Busch has a ton of money and recognition that supports the NRA and our 2nd amendment. He believes in making the nation a safer place, even one gun in the wrong hands is a black eye for all legal gun owners in this country and we need all the help we can get these days. Funny how many of you will bash a guy like this when so many members on this site are no longer NRA members as they have openly admitted their feelings here on several occasions regarding the direction the NRA has taken in past years but no bashing going on here against Hunt Wa. members! Kinda hypocritical, I say.

I support the NRA even though I don't always agree with them, I still maintain my membership....How about some of you! Are you all NRA members here?

Oh.... and the label or taste of beer has nothing to do with the 2nd.

:yeah: the Busch family doesn't own Budweiser.... it would be a pointless boycott.

We simply do not know what Mr. Busch believes.

Based on Busch's quotes in the news article that started this thread, I would say he doesn't get what this is all about.  There are a couple of his comments that indicate to this reader he is a water carrier for those that are seeking to erode my (our) rights.

What does "Hunting",  "Assault Weapons"  (using the left's vernacular, ours should be semi automatic rifles) and "high capacity magazine" have to do with the 2nd?  - read his words.

Understanding the greater good that the NRA has and continues to accomplish for gun owners,  why would one seek to go public an chastise them?  Idk?

Fal MD has it right.  Busch either doesn't know what the second amendment says, or he thinks some watered down version of it should be acceptable to the rest of us.  As far as the membership of the NRA there was a poll recently on how many agreed with the changes the left were hoping to get through congress, 90+ percent did not think we needed more gun laws.  Oh yeah, and I am a longtime member of the NRA as well as the NRA/ILA.

I've been boycotting Budweiser ever since I found out that beer wasn't supposed to taste like that. :P :puke:
