The Montana web site says the results will be posted the week of the 22nd. Another week of wondering ahead.

All I saw was mid april, I've been checking since this morning. Oh well, I've got about 100% draw odds so not sure it matters much.

It wasn't 100% last year.

Did they up the quota after the draw then? I bought one online in September last year.

Pope bought his the end of Oct. Brad (Rafflemule) and I both did not draw last year and had to get our tags through the alternit list.

They did not up the quota.  There is a provision where you can return your elk license if you do not draw your special permit.  These go back in to be sold OTC.

Phool, did you apply for deer/elk or deer?  There were leftover deer/elk combos available OTC in November.

According to FWP figures, last year there were 1709 deer/elk NR combos and 2158 elk NR combos that were leftover after the general drawing was conducted in April.

POINT is anyone who wanted a elk or deer tag in MT got a tag.. I had a letter sent to me 2 weeks after they refunded my money for not drawing a deer tag telling me there was 2,800 tags available
