A single bead works fine but adding a mid-bead would be an upgrade.  Scopes belong on rifles in IMHO.

To each his own but I tried a red dot on my coyote shotgun and didn't like it. The small mid bead with a front bead is what I prefer. I have yet to shoot a turkey, but I patterned it and the same priniples apply. For me it was taking something simple and trying to make it difficult.

I agree with the front/ mid bead...more gadgets equals more to go wrong IMHO

I love my $50 Sightmark red dot (7 light settings besdies off, 4 reticles, windage adustable).  I use the single dot reticle which is projected on the little screen ... you can quickly put the dot where you want to hit and it's devastating ( no paralax to worry about, and you don't have to line front and back sights with moviing turkey head/neck).

I like the Ring of fire which is now the Dead Ringer Beard buster, Cabelas carries them. The wife and I both love the site.
