Masher head. All my bears have shrunk some. Post up when you get a dry score on that bad boy. Would love to know what he scores in at.

You'll be tied at 32 with 3 others if it doesn't lose anything in drying for 60 days. There's 3 people at 20 4/16 right now, 6 at 20 3/16, and 3 at 20 2/16. Great bear and definitely a book bear in the NW or in B&C. Congratulations!

Thanks for looking that up

Wow.....   Wow.....   and Wow.....

I think it's so cool to get the live pics.   No way I would have chanced it;   I'd have been to scared of losing him.

What a brute.

I'd love to hear the story.

P.S.  I vote a for 6 month ban on the first jerk who scoffs at a posted weight.  Let them go be an internet bear expert somewhere else.

H-W posting weight or actual weight?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

After all of my algorithms and calpactulations, that bear weighs between 337 and 341 pounds. This fact is above reproach, and any opinions differing from mine are from numbskulls and skallywags.

i am guessing 450 to 525, but i bet in the fall that bear would weigh all of 600. that is a stud of a bear for sure. it sure would be nice to know the actual weight but i am betn its close to 500
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

Absolutely beautiful  bear, congrats to your buddy.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

The guy who shot it guessed the weight around 400+? He said it took all him and his buddy had to move it a foot at a time.

It had to be boned out to get it back to the truck so there's no official weight,  One thing that I'm sure of is that his guess at the weight is closer than I could come up with by looking at the picture.
