First bear picture of the year
« on: May 06, 2013, 07:01:05 PM »
It's not the greatest pictures, but it's the first one of the year for me. This is where I was getting all the bobcat pictures. Seems the bobcats aren't around anymore. Got some coyote pictures, but most of them were turkey vultures.

Little bear and big birds.  Plenty of predators there.

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

question...

So I grew up hunting birds in Eastern Wa in the 80's.  I NEVER use to see vultchers.  Now I see them all over the place.  Are they relativle new in returning to the state?  Or did I just miss them as a youth?  I just don't recall seeing them here 30 years (my gosh has it been that long??) ago.

 :dunno: Rob

some areas there are plenty and some there aren't many I guess.  I see them all the time at Fruitland and other areas but.  Maybe they're just spotty.  I'm surprised that I haven't seen them in a few areas, like county kill pits.

I seem to remember seeing them more regularly when I lived in Roy, there were always vultures circling WAY up high.
