Phelps Game Calls - New Calls
« on: May 07, 2013, 08:34:32 PM »
I have expanded my call line up.  Like I need more things to do :chuckle:

"We understand that not everyone may be able to use a standard elk diaphragm. That being said, we have partnered with Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls and Supplies, formerly Bugling Bull Game Calls, to offer several patented Palate Plate Diaphragms and a bite and blow mouth piece for the Phelps “Unlocateabull” Bugle.

I am also making predator calls using "CARVER" open reed tone boards.  I have a Rabid Rabbit, Ruthless Rabbit and Song Dog Slayer open reeds available.  The Rabid and SDS are in the Extreme version (over-bored tone board for more volume but can still be played quiet).  I am also am making Fawn Distress, Bear Cub Distress and Rabbit Distress Closed reeds.

I am almost finished up with the final sounds for a blacktail specific deer bleat.  The ZMA crew out of Oregon has been very successful calling blacktails into range and I recruited them to help me tweak the sounds they have found to work.  These will be on the site in the coming months.

I also have wolf howler diaphragms available.  For you guys trying to confirm where there are wolf packs.  Through the bugle tube these howls sounds AWESOME :IBCOOL:

Also would there be an interest in turkey box calls?  Short, long, boat paddle?  Trying to decide how many people use them (besides me).

Interested in the blacktail specific deer bleat.  Look forward to seeing pics when you're done.

I would be interested in box calls and any pot calls that you make. Slate, glass, crystal or combination of those.
