Ma'am, all I can do is offer my condolences for the loss of your husband.  Your family has made the ultimate sacrifice and my heart hurts.  As a father of young children, I can't imagine the confusion and heartbreak you've had to face in the past few weeks.  Thank you for dropping in.  We all wish the best for you and your family.

It's unimaginable the pain you and your family must be feeling right now, and although your thank you is much appreciated by each member, its us as Americans that should be thanking him and your family.

I thank him for his staunch dedication to our freedoms and this country, his willingness to put his life on the line for each and every one of us, as if we were family. His courage to do what most men won't, and paying the ultimate sacrifice in the name of liberty.

A heart felt Thank You to you and the rest of your family, for sharing him with us as Americans and allowing him to be the man you knew him to be, honorable, dedicated, selfless and a patriot.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Any little gesture from me, or any of my fellow forum members, seems (is) woefully inadequate to commemorate Aaron's service, and consequently, to honor your loss. Thank you for being a soldier's wife, we mourn your sacrifice with you, and celebrate his well lived life with you in what little we throw together here.

I wish you God's Peace and comfort and encouragement as you and your children travel this road. May you have a cloud of loving support and strength around you along every step of the way.

Prayers will continue.

It's all been said in the previous posts.  Aaron touched a lot of people on this site.  As many have said, if you need anything, please reach out to the group.  God bless you and your children.

Like many....I'd be honored to help in any way should you need it.

You just need to ask   Maybe we can get you a little Hunt-wa silver bell for you to ring when you need something....and send Karl to fetch it up from us  ;)

As others have said you don't owe the members of this site anything. Aaron gave his all to protect our freedom. We can't give you enough to repay our debt we owe to him.
It is great to hear from you and glad you are starting to heal from your loss. Please keep us in mind and if you need anything we are here to help.

I just found this topic and am at a loss for words. The comments already written capture my thoughts as well. One thing I would add, it's obvious to me that Aaron had the perfect life, he loved his work, he loved his hobbies, he loved his family, and they loved him back. I'm very sorry I do not have the mental fortitude at the moment to write anything better, so with tears in my eyes, I welcome you to the forum Becky. I'm sorry, I just don't have the capacity to say more.

I'm sorry I just could not get through this with our a tear in my eye. As I type this I can not express what I would go through if the same had happen to my wife. I can not imagine what you are going through. I do know this, every member on here would go into battle for one another, and that is what I want to be part of! Prayers continue to go to you and your family for strength and guidance in this time of suffering! God bless you and your family.

Wow, this one got the tears going. I can't say anything that hasn't been said already.  God bless you and your family.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I too haven't been able to keep a dry eye since hearing the news, and watch the responses on this forum. I really cannot add anything to what has been said already, and is in all members hearts. I know how hard it is for you and yours since I've been dealing with a similar loss of my 35 year old ex-Marine son 2 years ago from cancer, leaving his wife,  8 year old daughter, and 5 year son. He was so much like Aaron they would have been the best of friends. I still miss my son, my friend,  and hunting buddy so much ... but I also have to be so happy I did get to be his dad and watch him grow to be such a wonderful husband, dad, and friend to so many.   Lean on us as you need us. May God watch over you and yours and the memories of Aaron bring you the peace you so rightly deserve.  Thank you !

colockumelkwife, that was a very beautiful and wonderful post you started up this morning. I’m just one of those outsiders that didn’t know him at all. But I could easily tell the passions he had from his comments here. And the beauty you have that captured his heart. Thank you for sharing with us.  :)
