The other thread was locked because it was 400 posts of picking on a forum member for his grammar and mostly unfounded allegations about his guiding. Why is this starting all over again? Enough is enough.

Here is my side of the story.  I see a fellow hunt-wa member asking for reviews on a guide.  He gets negative reviews that warn he might get burnt if he uses said guide.

Then the guide gets on and starts lying in his 1st few post imo (let a guy go and he hacked the website and miss spelled the words).

We all argue back and forth like family but when a outsider comes here with bs we all band together. (200 elk in 5 years is questionable imo)

I dont care if a guy can read or write but I do care if a fellow member gets ripped off.

The guide was trying to clear his name and we were listening and imo members were willing to give the guide a chance to do so.

There were members with valid unanswered questions that the guide might of liked to have the chance to answer when he got back from baiting.

I was one of the main ones poking fun and that was wrong.  I did think the guide was made up at 1st but then figured out he was for real.  He does have some nice pics of game and might be a hellofa hunter but now we may never know if he is a good guide or the worst that has lived bc the thread was locked...

And, the information was provided and nothing new was being added.

Just want to point out that it's clear to me that if one thread is locked, another one just starts up. The guy is a member and can still post. If he wants to post and clear up his name that has been run into the dirt here, then he can go for it.
If he doesn't want to post on here, I can't blame him. We all poked fun, which probably wasn't the best idea and could have run him off. I suspect that's likely not the case. My point is, just because the thread was locked does not mean the discussion is over. That's clearly evident by this thread.

It was locked before he was a member. Then we saw the guy sign up as a member so the thread was unlocked to allow him to have a say.
Once the thread went in the toilet, it was locked again.

There was really nowhere good that the thread was going.

I am looking into the hunt offer though.

I'll let everyone know what happens.
I'm looking forward to seeing the results of the offer. Both your son and Monsterbulls could benefit from it. I will reserve judgment until then. I assumed it was locked because he was soliciting business and was not a site sponsor? In any event, some good was accomplished in the previous thread. The guy has a chance to repair his image and business's reputation publicly. We will see.

It all boils down to honesty.  Regardless of a person's English skills, honesty can help a person gain respect but dishonesty will result in "internet murder" every time. :twocents:

Well you told the truth, you are definitely out of the running now.  :chuckle:
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.
