Trout with antenna

my nephew caught a trout that was tagged with an antenna.  what is it?  where can we call the report it?  he caught it at the kid pond in Columbia park here in Kennewick.

Call your local WDFW office.  I would guess they'll want him to fill out the information requested for on the steelhead tags report form.  Eventually they'll probably give you some info eventually on the fish.  I'm guessing date of plant etc...

It's a tag.  I caught a steely on Cowlitz with one like that once.  It was tagged in the Sea of Japan or something like that if I remember correct.

its a tag. and it has numbers on it.  its a planted fish.
