I'm pretty new to trail cams but I quickly became addicted went to check cams last night and got these two pics on my cam before the camera was moved by what ever this is and no more pics were taken I'm thinking bear or elk what's do you guys think?

 :yeah: and it isn't a joke because they WILL eat/destroy/steal cameras.  Security boxes work well for bears or taking a panel of 1x1/2 hardware cloth and screwing it over the front of the camera.  A bear can still wreck this but flossing with wire is unpleasant enough that I haven't had any ruined like this.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Yah I was thinking bear but a few weeks ago I had this elk pop it's head in and yah I don't have a security box on this one will need to do

 I think the eye in the 2nd pic is too big for a bear. I think it's an elk also.

It is obviously a bear in both photos. Besides, the photos are at the same time and in succession.

Those are both Elk photo's.. I think that first pic the Elk's head is down so its dark colored mane is lookin almost black. And certainly that 2nd photo the features say Elk all day..Big ole eyeball and smooth lookin head...Elk!

I'll say both the first pics are a black bear.  Not the right color for an elk at this time.  If it's not a bear, it must be a sasquatch and you will soon be a very rich man if you can get a clear pic.
