5 points Archery, it won't be me that draws that tag  :(
[/You never know, my cousin drew with one point 3 years ago, back when my dad had 10.

Choice #2 archery 14 points

I'd bet money on you getting it. Unless you get your first choice. It's not that hard of a draw.
That's what I told my dad last year when he had 12 points, but we will see.
In 2012, average points for all applicants for the Peaches Ridge #2062 archery permit was 4.3. With 14 points and 106 permits for Hunt #2059 this year, the odds of drawing should be around 60%.

It does happen just not very often.  A friend of mine drew that Archery tag with two points.  It has been years for me to draw a tag.

[/quoteThat does suck, I think there should be a waiting period for quality elk and deer, maby 1 or 2 years? Not sure it would make any difference though.

I Have Been Thinking The Exact Thing For A Few Years Now.  IM Thinking About Three Year Waiting Period, But In That Time You Could StillPut In ForThe Points Option.  Heck Maybe Even A Five Year Period.
I Would Be More Than Happy To Draw Then Wait A Period Before Being Eligible Again As Long As I Was Still Getting Points.  Just Think How Much More The Odds Of Being Drawn Would Be For What Is Almost A Once In A Lifetime Tag For Most Of Us.  Plus The State Would Still Be Getting The Revenue.
Alright Now Let Me Have It!  I Can Take The comments :chuckle:

I think a 3 year waiting period would be fair. Maybe even just two years. Any more than three would be too much.

I know of quite a few people who drew the Peaches Ridge archery bull permit two years in a row.   :o

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
