Pig of a blacktail
« on: October 20, 2008, 01:19:16 PM »
I hate to tease 'cause I don't have any pics. but I just got back from our local hunting/sporting good store and a guy came in with an awesome blacktail.   He just got him and had him whole in the back of his truck.  He was a perfect 4 x 4 w/o eyeguards.   His G-2's and 3's were a little off from one side to the other but otherwise was a great buck with little deductions.  I'm putting him at 125 and possibly 130 B & C.  We just don't see a lot of symmetrical 4 x 4's in this part of blacktail country.  I wish I had my camera and gotten some pics.  Hopefully he comes on here and shows it off and lets me know how close my quick scoring estimate was.
