Car locks DE is IMHO the best out there, followed by the Vias in a radial brake. Concurren that a JP is good bang for the buck!

I looked at a lot and seem to be leaning towards an Allen brake. They are a little more spendy. Any one have one or any thoughts on this? Allen painkiller brake

Kirby makes and excellent recoil reducing brake.  His painkiller line of brakes look a little different then some of the other baffle style brakes but they work very well and you won't be disappointed with their performance.

do brakes come with 25% or a 50% to cut down on the ear damage  ?   why not get a 270 or 06 instead of downloading.   mike w

Thinking about a brake for 300wm. My wife is gonna hunt with it. I am gonna work some reduced loads too. What's a good brake and what's it gonna cost?  Thanks!
I would go with Mag-Na-Port

That's my one shot.
