Thanks for taking the time to post the pics of your bears, just what a guy needs to get the juices flowin' for the season. Really surprised by the size of some of these, a few look like they came from Vancouver Is. with Shockey. Gotta say the bleach blond and the old timer were really unique and cool to see.  See, I said "unique", not ugly when referring to the sloth.

Good looking bears.

Why don't you guys tell everyone what caliber you used to succeed ? I always want to know that, even on TV, but most don't.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

D-Rock, I'll be lookin' for it. I got a feelin' if you do there'll be plenty posts about it so a guy should be able to find it. Good luck out there! Should be plenty of ripe berries by then.

So far this is the closest ive come to even seeing a bear. Happened to see it in the ditch off the road while riding my mountain bike to check my trail camera.

.325 WSM with 200gr Accubond out of a Kimber Montana this spring.  Not my normal bear gun but it might become my every day bear gun from here on out.  Two bear with it so far and combined recovery distance has been Zero yards!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Yeah baby, that's what I'm talking about! I like to start my tracking job at the end.

No tracking is a beautiful thing....I'm up to about 3 yards total on two bears.

Unfortunately no. No deer, no bear, no nothing. But its because they are jumping the fence into my in-laws garden. The track was maybe a 5 minute walk from my camera. The area is pretty open due to the logging I told you about, so ill proly go back once season opens and call. Just to see what happens...

Saw my first bear today! It was just a little guy crossing the road. But either way, I was still excited.
