Mud Flow Archery
« on: June 19, 2013, 05:28:32 PM »
Drew the Mudflow cow tag for archery.  I have no idea what I'm getting into, I just heard it was a good area.  I'm happy and on only  3 points.  :IBCOOL:

Good luck there is alot of elk but its a tough hunt do the leg work and scout alot because what you see in there this time of year is not what you will see in sept.
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

I was really hoping for this tag, should be an awesome hunt. Congrats.

Good luck.  I drew the same tag two years ago and ate my tag.  Had over 20 bulls under 20 yards, but could not get a cow.  You couldn't call a cow in.  If you did cow calls the bulls would be on you quickly.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Any camping around the Mud Flow area and / or is camping allowed close to that area? I have a reservation at Ike Kinswa already for hunting that area, but that's too far.
