I have the same problem with Elk licking or pushing on my cameras. Must be the salt from sweat? Great TC pictures, love the one with your daughter.

She is definitely not a "girlie" girl.  She spends a lot of time with me in the woods.  Saw her first bear a few weeks ago and got to see a baby elk from just a couple feet.  She already loves the woods just as much as I do.  Fun times.

With lumber costs going up I would be expnding now  on to your trophy room for your  daughter

Just gotta get up here.

Ribka,
Can't afford to until I get some work,  like someone's  bike, or  wife's hunt.

The picture of your daughter is great.
Good for you getting her out and away from typical girl behavior.

I drew a bull tag for Goose Prairie archery this year. Hubby and I went up there and did some scouting the other day. This was our first time in that area. We definitely like what we saw.

Ty, we checked our cameras last week and had a spike similar to that one.  Lots of cows.     Hope their still there in Sept!

On one camera, our last pic was of a good size bear.  That picture was taken 15 min before we checked the camera.

Was going to give you a call but figured you were on call or at work.

Mike, if your area doesn't work out, let me know, I've got a camera over the ridge from your camp that is absolutley being hammered with elk.  Could probably nail a fat cow of that spot pretty easy.  Gonna be out of town for a few days next week, but call when you are around after that.

Will do Ty.  Thanks!

We'll probably check our cameras the first weekend in Aug.  Clay is on his annual Harley ride and gets back the 29th.
