Bow quiver to get
« on: June 21, 2013, 10:34:22 PM »
What are some good alternatives to bow mounted. Im not a fan of having things on my bow. Especially a recurve

I hunted for years with a hip quiver, still prefer them to bow mounted quiver.  Just make sure it's made of a quiet material and securely holds your arrows.  I also broke down last year and got a Boa Thunderhorn quiver, love it!!

I have used Neet hip quivers and I have seen these and almost used them: Vista Predator and Rustler quivers.

Does anyone have any experience with the scabbard style quivers. They look like they would be pretty good

last time i talked with Gino Bruno aka gjbruny (Gino Bruno at PiratesOfArchery.net) was a big advocate of the Safari Tuff.  looking at the animals he's whacked through the years, his opinion hold a lot of weight to me!  keeps your arrows silent and easy to access.  might ask hornseeker what he uses.  Ernie get it done with trad gear, too!
