High Mountain Hunting Supply in Wenatchee
« on: June 26, 2013, 08:34:43 PM »
So yesterday I posted about my dilemma trying to do glass bedding on one of my riffles.  This was of course my first time ever taking a barrel off a riffle.  After the curing time (24 hrs) nothing would move.  I screwed up!!!  The glass bedding material oozed in the screw holes, trigger etc.....  Mountainman and mrolen on here offered me to drop of the riffle and he would look at it.  Well they did and not only do that they fixed the trigger now smoother and better then before and also loosen the barrel.  I'm extremely impressed with these guys!!!  Super friendly shop, tons of inventory and super knowledgeable staff.  I give these guys two thumbs up!!!  Thank you for everything!  Awesome store you have!!  I'll be back!  Ohh, and I picked up a little gift for myself, a Kimber custom Eclipse II.  I'm a happy camper!!!!

Glad everything with your rifle worked out!  I've yet to make it to their store since I'm over here on the west side, but I've been impressed already with just what I've picked up on this site!

Austrian Hunter, was a pleasure. Was a fairly easy fix as suspected. Was great to meet you and visit for a bit! Always good to help out another Hunt-Wa member! I know you will enjoy the Kimber, and who knows, maybe a game of golf sometime? Take care and hopefully see ya again!

Not a darn thing.  Guess I will have to pack that camera around some more instead of the bow.  Yeah, not sure how I am related to a wolf lover.  :chuckle:

Well after my last visit to the other shop/store there in wenantchee, I will be making High Mountain my new favorite place to stop on the east side.
Those other guys suck.
Be seeing High Mountain soon.
The 1 thing those other clowns (Toys?) had going for them is a real good mexican food joint in front of the store, Oh well I will still stop on my way to Hi Mountain.
Does High Mountain have any 22LR  :o . Hey I just had to ask. :chuckle:

Thank You Sir,
I wouldnt care if all you had were "water Wings" and I was looking for bullets. I would stop in and see you folks before I stopped by the other outfit.
I would rather do without then stop and give those other guys a minute more of my time.
I will see you guys soon, Thanks for doing what you do, and doing it right.
Whitey..OUT!!

Update: I did not have the chance to shoot the riffle, however, I did put a couple of clips through the Kimber, and of course I love the gun.  Now, I need to come back and have you do some work, maybe working on the slide and trigger, I really have to get over how nice the gun looks and stop babying that thing, lol.  Thanks again!!! See you soon...,

Put about 500 rounds through that pistol before you go messing with anything.  They need broken in.  Keep some oil on it and shoot the crap out of it.

I'll add my thumbs up for the HMHS guys in Wenatchee.  They've sold 6 of my handguns on consignment, and I've purchased two handguns and a rifle from them.  I've spent an awful lot of money there, but at least I didn't waste it on other stuff!

I will add, though, that I've also had awesome service from Aaron in the archery dept at the other place too.  I am blessed to have 2 quality bow shops within minutes of my house.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I had a friend pick me up a muzzle loader. I had it for a few months, never fired it.  I realized it was not a NW magnum. I sent it back and they replaced it. Excellent customer service.
