Some of my favorite first memories were hunting rabbits and grouse. Enjoy the start of the tradition.

Are you aware that rabbit season (09/01-03/15) is closed? Posting photo(s) of your son with poached game doesn't strike me as a prudent thing to do; just sayin'.

Love some rabbit hunting... But I didn't think cotton tail opened up until Sept 1?  Wouldn't these technically be poached rabbits? :dunno:

Obviously these rabbits were in the garden.  Don't you see him smiling on the yard?  They definitely were damaging property.

On your own property all you need are plants you don't want a rabbit to eat and there isn't a rabbit season.

Yes, I agree with you folks, but it may be easier to take down the pics than to explain yourself several times!

That's fine and dandy, but there are restrictions on lethal removal of nuisance wildlife, for racoons, one is supposed to contact WDFW for disposal of the carcass.  I don't think you are allowed to eat them.  Not sure, but I would guess it is the same for rabbits.

Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

Yes, the Europeans are 2X-3X bigger and often different colors.  Pretty much found in the San Juans and other isolated locations only.
