My guess is the grizz got it last looks like a wire touching it's side in the pic.

When I was in Yellowstone a couple of years ago, I saw a picture of a grizzly biting a live power line.
The bear was still smoking when the picture was taken.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.
