No. You can keep 6 sockeye below. Still an overall salmon limit of 6.

Just saw the news release.... Talk about a bummer! Last year it was 6 and you were done fishing in an hour! I feel like I just stubbed a toe! $&@$!!!

As Okano-gun said, we're damn lucky to even get a season.

Oups ...no wonder why they always want to give me tickets  :dunno: :chuckle:  I know a lot of people who are not going to be happy about this .....All those people who stay at the camp ground with freezers outside their Motor homes will not be loading up to easily this year  :yike:

They won't give one sh*t about the limits.  They are here too enjoy retired life and comradarie while enjoying the fishing. ;)

The way I see it, is that it's going to be on a day to day basis.  Could shut down totally for the retention on sockeye if the numbers in Canada aren't reached, or could go back to the six fish limit if there's an over abundance.  If you plan on fishing it, I'd be checking for the latest regulations.  Hell, it could even be closed before the opener Monday..........

Question, is the "Brewster Pool" sockeye fishery at the mouth of the Okanogan river open July 1 or July 16?
