My california Rio Grande Turkey
« on: October 17, 2008, 06:49:43 PM »
I have the luck to have a best freind with a 9000 acre ranch in california, the number of deer and turkeys are crazy... and the birds are vocal and agressive most of the time, in the 4 day hunt I saw over 300 birds, we called in 17 toms and killed 3... I shot this 24lb 10in beard tom at 50yrds..... my buddy is a great caller and called many in to under 15 yrds but this guy held up and I couldnt take it and said 50yrds will work and that was that.... the muzzy mx4 hit him where it counts and down he went........... good times.......
