I love the buck and think its a great one.  No way does it gross 190 maybe 180, but I would give it a 170 ranking NET.  Sorry.  I am not putting it down at all, I love it.  If I am wrong about the 190, I might just have to swallow some crow but.....

Bone would know, he looks at a lot of deer. I would have to say that deer will go 180gross - maybe a little better.

like it matters because that is a bad ass buck but from where I sit it appears to me like you are a little short on you main beam and the inside spread is a little bit short of perfect. I hate to pic apart a buck like that though. that thing is a masher in anybodies book. congrats. my fav deer of the year. thanks for sharing

thanks red dawg!! I'm only going off of what my taxidermists measured!! He has been in the business for 25 years I hope he knows how to measure a buck! Bone I will try to post the official score sheet next week when it has been 60 days I am going to go pick up the antlers and take him to be officially measured so I can put a stop to all the guessing!! In my position it doesn't matter what this buck scores, it is by far the best buck i have ever shot and it was a great hunt with life long memories !! That's the important part to me not so much a score. You can't put a score on the memories that us hunters create while in the woods with our hunting partners.

I agree. The memories are the best part. And besides you will be able to stare at that monster day in and day out for the rest of your life to remember the great day you killed that great animal. No matter what it scored you killed a very honorable animal.
