Not really surprising. A moving bike or motorcycle probably triggers the chase instinct that every predator has. Wolves are just better athletes than anything else we have.

Also not very exclusive to wolves...

Not trying to thread jack but there are tons of guys that hunt of bikes during deer season.  How many of you have been chased by a bear or cougar?

I think what is amazing is the guy bear sprayed the wolf a half dozen times and the wolf kept chasing - I had a idiot friend spray some in our camp one time 2 b funny and I was crying 4 an hour.
