Obama Supporters Sign Petition to Repeal the BILL OF RIGHTS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0he0cqHH20&feature=youtu.be

I don't have a word or words that would accurately describe the (...) people that signed this petition.  Even though the signature gatherer does this just to see what people will do, the results are shocking.

Perhaps we should push for legislation that requires all schools to teach our kids about our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and why we are a free people.  You can see from the video that many adults, who VOTE, have completely lost touch.

How do you defeat that kind of ignorance?

That's the million dollar question.  The sad part is, you could do the same thing with Bush, or Clinton, or whoever.  Some of the population just doesn't get it and goes along with whatever the president they support says.

Wow!

This PROVES that ALL Obama voters want to repeal the Bill of Rights!

I mean, there are NO videos that show conservative voters doing stupid things! So we should take this really seriously.

It's no secret to anyone that many of the people who continue to support this tramper of our rights aren't paying attention to what's going on in our country. They don't know the Constitution. They don't know the reasons we need our Bill of Rights. They don't know that our country can't survive as a welfare state.  If they did know, they wouldn't support him or much of our government. And, they're ready to blindly follow this idiot right to the destruction of our economy and freedoms. I'm not a big fan of Dice because he tends to go off the deep end. But people freely signing a petition to repeal the Bill of Rights? Wow. Completely brainwashed.

While some of that is true, many on here conveniently ignore that many of the policies are just a continuation of Bush's policies and laws (Patriot Act is the prime example).  The video makes reference to that fact, but magically, on hunting-Washington, this is entirely about Obama.

So, it's OK that Obama's following in Bush's footsteps then? Would he have been elected and re-elected with the slogan "I'll do it just like Bush" or "You'll never know he's gone"? That makes an even more astute point that many of his followers are morons. Things are the same as they were under Bush, yet they heard "Hope and Change" and can't see there is none.

No, it is not OK that Obama is following Bush's footsteps.  It is also not OK for the conservative people, on here and elsewhere, to ignore the fact that the GOP is just as responsible for the erosion of our rights as Obama is.  Pretending it is all Obama because you don't like Obama isn't helping our country and discredits those that do.   :twocents:

As I said in the original post, "Even though the signature gatherer does this just to see what people will do, the results are shocking."  To clarify further, that means what the signature gatherer is saying is completely false.  The petition is not real; he just wants to show us how incredibly blind, brainwashed, and stupid some people are.  The big issue here is those people that signed that fake petition also will probably VOTE; that fact is very frightening.  The signature gatherer is showing us that many people are willing to sign away our rights and freedoms just because he says the action is supported by Obama.  By the way, we still have ALL 10 Amendments in the Bill of Rights; if we lose any of them, we are no longer a free people.

I agree.  But, people need to keep in mind that many of the same people are in Congress and the GOP still supports those policies.  Cheney came out a few weeks ago and supported Obama's actions regarding the NSA controversy.  Just because Bush is gone doesn't mean the GOP doesn't believe in those policies.  If you vote party line, you are likely voting for a continuation of Bush/Obama.

Thank forced schooling by the gov. and those who support it....kids used to be taught HOW to think, now theyre taught WHAT to think.....and the money to do it is stolen at gunpoint with threat of being put in a cage with pedos and rapists.
